Every liberal in the Senate voted for the bill. Nearly every liberal in the House will vote for the bill. If anyone is going to kill the bill it&#39;s conservatives like Nelson and Lieberman if they don&#39;t like the necessary compromises made with the House version.<br /><br />Nate Silver makes a good point on 538 that even if we wanted to use reconciliation to pass a more progressive bill, we would be better off passing this bill first.<br /><br />One other thing, if the bill passes with the mandate as currently proposed, we will have much less than the 23 million uninsured shown on that graph.AJCnoreply@blogger.com
