This Senate process is obviously killing Obama politically. The public is sick of it, sick of the dithering, sick of the prima donnas. Any improvements should go into another bill. At this point, the Democrats are toying with losing their majorities by prolonging this. If they lose either the House or the Senate, Obama will wind up negotiating tax cuts for the rich and cutting the estate tax when it returns after 2011 or he'll get nothing done at all besides funding wars and shoveling money to the Pentagon.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
