The White House Steps In Again To Stop Obama

It was proved last week that the White House stepped in to force Germany's prime minister to openly denounce a potential Obama speech at the same gate JFK and Reagan spoke at.

While today, after Iraq's prime minister volunteered himself that he preferred Obama's timetable for withdrawal, we find out that the Bush Administration got involved again to try and get the prime minister's government to say that his words were misinterpreted or lost in translation. The NYTs finds that he was quoted accurately and the German newspaper stands by its story. So right now, the Bush administration is actively involving itself in the presidential campaign to try and help McCain and bring down Obama.

Iraq's prime minister has also reportedly told his staff that he is going to use the 2008 election to 'squeeze' the Bush Administration. Iraq wants us out. Iraq knows that America wants itself out. The only people standing in the way are Bush and McCain. Iraq's prime minister is trying to leverage his country's wants and desires with the U.S.'s to force Bush's hand.

The irony is McCain's response to this whole thing, which was that Maliki has to be for a withdrawal because of domestic politics.....Think about that for a second. Malaki has to advocate us withdrawing troops to stay popular with Iraqis. That means Bush and McCain are trying to force American forces down the throats of the Iraqi people, who just want the freedom we promised them so they can use it to freely kill every person they see from a different religious sect. Cindy Sheehan and Michael Moore will tell you Iraqis just want to live their lives in peace....My contention is that the Iraqis are ungrateful bastards who just want our soldiers out of their country so they can kill eachother. I have never bought the argument that a civil war was a foregone conclusion, which was the chief argument of not going in. If Iraqis choose to kill eachother just because someone is a Sunni or someone is a Shia, then they absolve us of any wrongdoing. I don't care how backwards your religion or country....people in every part of the world know you shouldn't kill eachother. Iraqis are using our presense as an excuse to settle old scores and then blaming the terrible conditions on us.

RE: Bush interfering with election:

fucking Bush..this is so so wrong and so
obvious...how will the MSM and the public
react to this? Will they start pushing the mantra
that Malaki does not actually agree with Obama..

it is or it was a huge coup that he supported
Obama's plan...
