Hillary Threatening Lawsuit Over Texas Caucuses...She is Trying to Change the Rules of the Game Because She is Going to Lose

UPDATE: Apparently Clinton's beef is if caucuses become too crowded, they object to moving them outdoors....i.e...Obama's supporters are going to pack the caucuses and the Clintons don't want those to count. Straight evil.

Original Post Below

Dailykos diary here. Apparently the AP is now carrying the story. She is threatening a lawsuit to stop and delay the caucuses.

For those who don't know, next Tuesday, people have to vote in the primary in Texas, then come back at 7:00PM and vote in the caucus. It is a dual system. You get some delegates for the primary, and then some for the caucus. 65% for the primary and 35% for the caucuses. She knew this going in, but because of her "only compete until February 5th" strategy, she wasn't prepared. Obama is.

This raises two points for me: She is clearly trying to change the rules mid-game because caucuses favor the better organized candidate with more enthusiastic voters(Obama); and this story is going to come back and bite her in the ass. Think Iowa when they accused Obama of shipping students in from Illinois. The media went nuts, but the Iowans said that is how the rules are set up. I think the same thing happens here because she is disrespecting the Texas voters.

Threatening legal action because she didn't have her shit together? Play by the rules and win by the rules. You don't change them when they don't benefit you.

By the way, Bill Clinton mentions this last and they knew they had to have a strategy for it.

But Obama had a message already developed and the first thing he mentioned the moment he stepped a foot on the ground in Texas was "The Texas 2 Step", his GOTV slogan.

This is why Obama is going to win the majority of delegates in Texas and why the Clintons are filing a lawsuit:
